The SINUS PRO ULTRA PLUS 12000 solar inverter combines several functions: an inverter, a solar charger, and a battery charger. What are the key features of the SINUS PRO ULTRA PLUS 12000?

Deep discharge recovery function

This feature is used to revive (reactivate) a completely discharged and unresponsive lithium battery. In some cases, the battery needs a short activation pulse to start charging normally—this is exactly what this option provides.
You can set the duration of this pulse—from 6 to 300 seconds. The default setting is 6 seconds, which is usually sufficient for most situations.
You can increase this value if the device fails to wake up the battery at the preset time.
The EQ (equalization) function is the process of balancing the voltage between the cells in a battery to:

Battery performance optimization—ensuring that each cell in the battery operates within its optimal voltage range.
Extended battery life – prevents excessive wear on certain cells, which can lead to faster wear and degradation.
This feature applies to lead-acid batteries with liquid electrolyte.
How does the power strip work in off-grid mode?
In off-grid mode, the solar inverter operates independently of the user's electrical grid. Energy harvested from the solar panels is stored in batteries and then supplied to the connected load.

When using a SINUS PRO ULTRA PLUS series inverter in photovoltaic systems (for cyclic battery charging), we recommend using batteries that are best suited for this purpose, such as GEL VPRO SOLAR batteries, DEEP CYCLE VPRO SOLAR, or LiFePO4 lithium batteries.

In the power settings, be sure to select the appropriate battery type and a charging current that matches the battery’s capacity. Incorrect selection of battery charging parameters may result in battery damage and void the battery warranty. The use of maintenance-free AGM batteries (e.g., AGM series, AGM OPTI, AGM VPRO) in photovoltaic installations (cyclic charging systems) can lead to a faster loss of battery efficiency/capacity. Such batteries are designed for and perform best in buffer mode (backup power, UPS systems).

As with other types of batteries, incorrect selection of charging current can lead to damage and loss of battery warranty.
