Integrated Bluetooth
You can set up, view and configure the Blue Smart IP22 charger via your smartphone. You can view the charger and battery status. Even control the charger's functions using the VictronConnect app. The screen displays the default voltage and current. You can download the app for iOS and Android here. High efficiency
With up to 94% efficiency, these chargers generate up to four times less heat, compared to the industry standard. And once the battery is fully charged, power consumption is reduced to 0.5W, about five to ten times less than the industry standard.

Adaptive 6-step charging algorithm: test - bulk - absorption - reconditioning - float - storage
The charger is equipped with microprocessor controlled "adaptive" Battery Management. The adaptive function automatically optimizes the charging process

Storage mode: less maintenance and aging when the battery is not in use
Storage mode - unless the battery has been discharged for 24 hours. In storage mode, the voltage is reduced to 2.2 V/cell (13.2 V on a 12 V battery) to minimize gassing and corrosion of the positive plate. Once a week, the voltage is increased to an absorption level to "balance" the battery. This feature prevents electrolyte layering and sulfation.

Also charging Li-ion (LiFePO₄) batteries
LiFePO₄ batteries are charged in a bulk-absorption-float algorithm.

NIGHT and LOW settings
When the night or LOW mode is set, the output current is reduced to a maximum of 25% of the rated power and the charger will be completely noiseless. NIGHT mode will end automatically after 8 hours. LOW mode can be exited manually.

Protection against overheating
The output current will be reduced if the temperature rises above 50°C, but the charger will not be damaged.
