The MECHANIC CAR STAND PRO stable car stands are used to secure and support the vehicle when it is lifted onto the jack during repairs or wheel changes. The stands provide a load capacity of up to 3 tonnes, allowing most cars and light trucks to be lifted and supported. The stated 3 tonne capacity refers to the use of two pedestals, so for safety reasons it is essential to use both pedestals at all times. They are made from steel and can reach heights from 285mm up to 425mm. Securing with cotter pins ensures that the pedestals remain firmly in place, minimising the risk of unwanted slipping. The supports of the pedestals are made of rubber, which will provide firm support for the body of the vehicle while preventing scratches to the paintwork.
