The Orion-Tr Smart DC-DC non-isolated charger is a professional DC-DC adaptive three-stage charger with built-in Bluetooth function.

It is designed for use in dual battery systems in vehicles or boats where a (smart) alternator and starter batteries are used to charge the service battery. The unit can be monitored and programmed via Bluetooth and controlled remotely using a remote on/off switch. The charger is also equipped with an engine run detection mechanism.

The Orion Tr-Smart charger can be used in 12V or 24V systems and is suitable for both lead acid and lithium batteries. Models up to 400 W are available. In addition, an unlimited number of units can be wired in parallel to increase output power.

It is suitable for use at high ambient temperatures, up to 55 °C, and at full rated output up to 40 °C.

Adaptive three-stage charging algorithm: fast - absorptive - floating
- for lead acid batteries, it is important that the absorption time is short during mild discharges to avoid overcharging the battery. After a deep discharge, the absorption time increases automatically to ensure the battery is fully charged.

A remote on/off switch or relay contact can be connected to the two-pole connector.

All models are equipped with short circuit protection and can be wired in parallel for increased
