LEVENHUK LabZz M101 Moonstone microscope
Code: TI_06650630Product detailed description
LEVENHUK LabZZ M101 BLACK microscopeWhat does the little bug look like at high magnification? What is the internal structure of the plant? What lives in a drop of pond water? With the Levenhuk LabZZ M101 Amethyst Microscope, children will be able to find the answers to these and many other questions that occupy their young and curious minds. The kit contains everything they need for their first independent experiments - prepared microscope slides, special tools for working with the microscope and informative instructions with descriptions of a range of interesting experiments. Its bright translucent Amethyst colour makes the microscope stand out - it could make a great gift for a child or student.
Quality optics:
The microscope is designed especially for children, but in terms of optical performance this model is no worse than the "adult" range of microscopes. It is equipped with three objectives. You don't have to interrupt your work when adjusting the magnification - by turning the turret you can quickly change the objectives. A unique feature of this model is its sliding two-position eyepiece, which replaces two eyepieces with magnifications of 10x and 16x - and is really easy to use. Your child won't have to replace the eyepieces, so they won't lose them. Three objectives and this eyepiece will allow you to achieve the following magnification values: 40x, 64x, 100x, 160x, 400x and 640x!
Study of microscopic samples:
If you are going to observe a fly wing or an onion cell, you need to put a thin transparent specimen on the workbench. Practical clamps hold it securely in place so that you don't lose sight of it when you accidentally move it. The light emitted by the LEDs (located under the table) passes through the slide and produces a magnified image. The adjustable brightness of the illumination is a very handy feature - you can turn it up for slides with more thickness that are less transparent, and turn it down the other way around when viewing very thin and transparent sections.
Comfortable and safe construction:
The body is made of durable plastic, so the microscope is lightweight, yet durable and reliable. To avoid discomfort when observing, the microscope head has a 45° inclination. The microscope is battery powered - this makes it safer to use and makes the instrument more portable.
Interesting experiments:
The kit includes an experiment kit that contains everything you need to conduct exciting experiments in the peace of your home! The informative user guide will tell your child how the microscope works, what they can do with it, how to make their own slides, teach them how to feed microscopic crustaceans at home, and a host of other interesting facts!
