The UNI-T UT131 generation of multimeters offers a higher standard of measurement in the affordable digital multimeter category. The innovative and industrial design with a protective case ensures the multimeter is shock and drop resistant from up to two meters. The new LCD display layout is clearer and more practical for all users, plus the display has a backlight option. UT131 series multimeters guarantee safe handling and measurements and are classified as CAT II safety category (double insulated appliances) and are designed for measurements in circuits up to 250V/ AC or DC. The display display range is ± 1.999. The fusing of the current ranges is performed by fast tubular fuses (10A range by 10A/250V fuse; mA/µA range by 200mA fuse). The power supply of the multimeter is carried out by two AAA 1,5V alkaline batteries.

The UT131B model in the UT131 series features manual selection of the measurement range within a given measurement Vst, Vss, MVSS/st, resistance, buzzer, semiconductor, μAss/st, mA ss/st, A ss/st, plus 1.5V; 9V; 12V battery testing with load.
