The SmartShunt tracker is a new model of a high-precision, display-less battery status monitoring system for up to two independent batteries.

The SmartShunt is a battery monitor just like the BMV range, only without the display. The display becomes your smartphone with the VictronConnect app. You can download the VictronConnect app for free on Google Play or in the App Store.

SmartShunt connects via Bluetooth to the VictronConnect app on your smartphone (or tablet) and conveniently reads all monitored battery parameters such as charge status, historical information and much more.

Alternatively, SmartShunt can be connected and read by the GX device. Connection to the SmartShunt is made using a VE.Direct cable.

SmartShunt is a good alternative to the BMV battery monitor, especially for systems where battery monitoring is required but less wiring is required and a conventional display is not required.

The SmartShunt features Bluetooth, a VE.Direct port, and a connection that can be used to monitor a second battery, for midpoint monitoring, or to connect a temperature sensor.
