Temperature Controlled Soldering Station - Model: ZD-8919, is suitable for soldering work of technicians in factories, laboratories for production or repair of electronic equipment. It has the possibility of adjusting the temperature of the soldering tip in the range of 160 °C to 480 °C. The advantage is the rapid heating of the tip to 400 °C in only about 50 seconds, which is achieved by a heat output of up to 130 W during warm-up. The set temperature is maintained at a constant value even when heating larger parts due to the feedback effect, where the tip temperature is measured by the PTC cell and the heating is switched according to the temperature. Advantageous is the "sleep" function, when after removing the soldering handle to the holder and inactivity for 10 min, the temperature and electricity consumption are reduced. The soldering tips are type N9 with an outer shank diameter of 6.4 mm and an inner diameter of 4.5 mm and can be easily exchanged for new ones or for others with a different tip shape, up to five different tip shapes N9-16 to N9-56 can be ordered, the tip supplied is type N9-16. A 1 mm diameter, 2 m long tubular tin coil is supplied with the soldering station, which is attached to the side of the soldering station so that it is always close at hand. A ball of copper wire and a cleaning sponge are supplied for cleaning the tip.
