The UT60EU is a digital multimeter with a display range of 9999 that allows measurement of actual effective RMS voltage and current values with both automatic and manual range selection. It has 1000V rms overload protection on all ranges, the current range is protected by a 10A/1000V, 6.35 x 32mm tube fuse. When measuring voltages and currents approaching the ≥990.0V / ≥9,900A limits, an alarm will sound and an "OL" will be displayed when the limits are exceeded. It also allows the measurement of resistance, capacitance, temperature, frequency, duty cycle, circuit continuity and semiconductor transitions. The circuit is optimized for non-contact measurement of the electric field in two subranges. The multimeter is equipped with a modern processor with fast analog-to-digital converter (3 times/s conversion).

The entire multimeter design is equipped with a durable double-insulated housing and has European CE certification and meets the CAT II 1000V/CAT III 600V safety classification. The instrument is suitable for work in the laboratory or workshop as well as for normal electrician's practice. It is powered by standard 3 x 1.5 V, AAA batteries, which last up to 500 hours due to their low consumption.
