GOOWEI ENERGY series EV - DEEP CYCLE gel batteries are the private label of our company. Based on many years of experience in the field of batteries, in cooperation with the manufacturer, we have placed emphasis on the high quality of the materials used (lead purity), long cycling life (extra thick cell grids) and maximum reliability and safety of the batteries in operation. These are sealed lead-acid batteries in VRLA design. Hybrid GEL technology = the electrolyte is solidified in a hybrid gel (combination with AGM) and thus tightly bound in the battery cell interior, eliminating leakage. The extra thick cell grid ensures a very high cycling resistance (around 600 cycles at 80% D.O.D = 80% depth of discharge), which makes these batteries suitable for applications where frequent and deep discharging/cycling occurs, i.e. especially for electric motor drives. Thanks to a long term contract and direct import from custom manufacturing, we are able to offer these high quality batteries at very reasonable prices! Cycle life of GOOWEI ENERGY EV - DEEP CYCLE batteries: approximately 1200 cycles / 50% D.O.D. (50% D.O.D. = 50% depth of discharge) at 25°C.
In order to achieve optimum battery life in cyclic operation, it is necessary to respect the maximum permissible depth of discharge of 80% D.O.D. specified by ČSN EN61044.

The inclusion of this element prevents damage to the batteries and contributes to achieving maximum service life.

Suitable additions to batteries in cyclic operation are also automatic VICTRON dischargers, which monitor the battery status and disconnect the battery from the load when the capacity drops below a set limit. This protective feature contributes significantly to achieving optimum service life and prevents damage to the battery due to extremely deep discharges.
