The ECO Solar Boost MPPT-3000 inverter allows the direct use of PV panel systems to power resistance heating devices such as electric boilers, heaters, heating mats, water heaters, etc.

The system is simple, requiring only the connection of the appropriate number (4 to 9 pieces) of photovoltaic panels with an operating voltage of about 35V or the corresponding number of panels with a different voltage and energy appliance, e.g. electric boiler, floor heating, etc.

The DC current generated in the panels, which cannot be fed directly to the heating devices, is converted in the inverter into AC current that can be used to power the heating devices.
The maximum output of the system is 3kW, the converter has a priority output number "1" and a dependent output number "2".

This allows you to connect two heating devices, for example two boilers, one of which will heat first and the other when the thermostat of the first one stops receiving energy from the inverter. Thanks to the implemented MPPT function, the inverter automatically adapts to the power of the heater and adjusts its operating point so that the energy received from the photovoltaic panel system is maximum.

ATTENTION! Heating devices with electronic controllers can only be powered from output number 1.

The table shown in the photos shows how to select the optimal heater depending on the power and voltage of the PV system. Selecting the optimal heater guarantees the highest efficiency of the PV system for water heating.
The actual performance of 230V heaters strongly depends on the voltage of the PV system, optimal heaters are marked in green, too weak in orange and too strong in red.
