The UT196 True RMS solar multimeter from UNI-T is a professional product for professionals installing or maintaining photovoltaic or wind power plants. The design of the instrument allows it to work in harsh outdoor environments - it has IP65 protection and is able to withstand a fall from a height of 2m. This multimeter measures DC voltages up to 1700 V, AC voltages (actual effective values) up to 1500 V at a frequency range of 45 to 1000 Hz. With the UT-CS09D Flex additional current loop, it also enables non-contact measurement of AC currents from 1.5 to 3000 A, even in confined spaces. Furthermore, the UT196 measures frequency, resistance, capacitance, semiconductor transitions and continuity of electrical circuits.
The low pass function allows to filter out RF interference generated by the inverter. The low impedance mode can help troubleshoot sensitive circuits as well as circuits that may contain spurious voltages. A built-in flashlight, bright backlight, and audible and visual alarms allow users to complete work safely and efficiently even in dark and noisy environments.
The UT196 solar digital multimeter is designed with 1700V DC, 1500Vrms AC overload protection and tested for safe use in CAT III 1000V, CAT IV 600V environments and certified to CE, UKCA, cETLus.
