Wireless flammable and explosive gas detector
A new generation of wireless flammable and explosive gas detector designed to detect methane (CH4) based hazards such as natural gas, biogas, CNG, LPG, mine gas, etc. The purpose of the detector is to provide early warning of an imminent leak of flammable and explosive gases in the monitored area. The device is equipped with relay and pulse output, which allows its easy integration into third-party alarm and automation systems. This allows external devices such as automatic gas shut-off valves, alarm annunciators or room ventilation fans to be connected and controlled. The annunciator can operate as part of a FireSAFE fire alarm system supported by the FireSAFE Hub central control unit or completely stand-alone. SAFE 5YGAS - RF is powered by a safe 12 V DC voltage via the 230 V / 50 Hz mains power supply included in the package.

The semiconductor integrated sensor of the wireless detector meets the highest European safety standards and is certified and calibrated according to EN 50194 (standard for electrical equipment for the detection of combustible gases) without the need for additional periodic service calibration. The second generation sensor performs continuous air testing for the presence of dangerous levels of gas concentrations in the monitored area. The device is controlled by a state-of-the-art microprocessor, which immediately sends a radio signal and activates both visual and audible alarms in the event of a dangerous gas level being detected. SAFE 5YGAS - RF thus provides early warning of gas leaks and contributes to maximum protection of your home.

Wireless communication in the FireSAFE network
The detector includes an integrated RF module that, thanks to the CONNECTED function, allows two or more FireSAFE detectors to be connected wirelessly to form an interconnected wireless network. In this case, if one of the devices triggers an alarm, it sends a radio signal and all other FireSAFE units connected in the network respond to this alarm.

The intelligent Hub FireSAFE central control unit can be added to the wireless network. These units then allow convenient setup and control of the comprehensive FireSAFE system remotely via an intuitive free mobile app (for Android and iOS) for smartphones, tablets and other devices. The Hub continuously monitors the status of all connected FireSAFE detectors and devices. As soon as it detects any danger, it immediately alerts system users, not only via push notifications, but also by triggering a loud and clear alarm with visual signalling directly in the FireSAFE mobile app. This way you are always informed in time and can react quickly to any threat.

Two control outputs
SAFE 5YGAS has two control outputs (relay and pulse), which allow a wide range of installation options with an emphasis on maximum safety. The device outputs offer direct connection and control of external components such as automatic gas shutoff valves, alarm annunciators, HVAC fans, electric locks, lighting and other devices used in alarm or automation systems. SAFE 5YGAS - RF thus provides not only reliable protection, but also a wider flexibility that allows a higher degree of protection in the event of gas leak detection.

Gas leak fire alarm
If the detector detects an exceedance of the specified gas limit value, it automatically triggers a loud acoustic alarm signal with a volume of 85 dB, which is accompanied by the flashing of a red LED indicator signaling a gas leak fire alarm. This is a targeted way of attracting the attention of building occupants by means of a high noise level and an intense LED indication that a dangerous situation is developing in some part of the building. The purpose of the fire alarm is then to immediately respond to the alarm event or to move people from the scene of the emergency to a safe zone.

With IZOVAX protection even in areas with increased humidity
The detector's electronic components and circuit board are coated with an insulating and protective layer of IZOVAX nanoparticle paint and, thanks to innovative second-generation semiconductor sensor technology, these devices can be installed in a wide range of difficult environments (bathrooms, drying rooms, saunas, utility rooms, kitchens, garages, boiler rooms, workshops, warehouses, laboratories ...) where moisture or vapors usually negatively affect the detection function or the lifetime of the device.
