The electrician's screwdrivers are individually tested in water at 10,000 V and subjected to the following 5 batch test phases: - designed and tested according to international standards, the Bi-metal handle allows comfortable use - molded insulation discs - shank made of high quality alloy steel - insulation up to 10,000 V AC.

HIGH SAFETY AND COMFORT: When working on live electrical equipment, it is essential to have properly insulated tools that we can really rely on. Our new VDE 1000 insulated screwdriver is the answer to the strict requirements; the market. Comfort is essential. The screwdriver consists of a two-component, ergonomically shaped handle characterised by its red-yellow colouring. The tools are individually tested to meet IEC 900, STN EN 60900 and VDE 0680/02 standards.

FIRE TEST: Tools are tested for flammability and thus eliminate the risk of fire.

FORCE TEST: Tools are tested to withstand a load of 20 N force and temperature up to +70°C at 5000 V AC voltage test.

ELECTRICAL TEST: Tools are immersed in water for 24 hours and then connected to 10,000 V for 3 minutes to rule out insulation breaks or defects.

FREEZE RESISTANCE TEST: Tools are tested to temperatures of -40°C for impact resistance. The insulating material protects the tool against impact even at extreme temperatures.

INSULATION ADHESIVENESS TEST: The adhesion of the insulation to the tool itself is tested to withstand even heavy loads.
