MPPT controller 20A for all available battery types with system voltage 12V or 24V and for PV panels with maximum power 260W(12V) or 520W(24V) with maximum input voltage 100V and minimum input voltage 1V higher than the battery charging voltage. It is therefore also suitable for panels with a system voltage of 12V, which generate 16-18V at maximum load. This controller uses an internal inverter to adjust the V-A characteristic of the current source - solar panel to be optimal for battery charging. It can make better use of the energy from the solar panels than a PWM controller, which regulates charging only by pulse limiting the direct connection between the solar panel and the battery, where the pulse width is proportional to the state of the battery being charged. In other words, the MPPT controller can generate the ideal voltage and current to charge the battery from a source with higher voltage and lower current. For example, 18 V and 5 A will be converted to 14.5 V/6.2 A. The conversion efficiency of the V-A characteristic tends to be above 95%, so losses are minimal and regulators can usually be adapted to different battery types to provide the most optimal charge. An integrated Bluetooth module (Solarlife app) can monitor operating status and parameters in real time.

Turn on the controller on the 12V battery and connect it via the app. In Battery param and Advanced settings, change the Rated voltage to 24V and select SEND, then disconnect the controller and reconnect it to 24V. After that everything should be fine. Alternatively, you can change the Rated Voltage to AUTO again to automatically detect 12 or 24V.
