Monocrystalline solar panels are suitable for both domestic and industrial use, as well as for places without electricity, such as cottages, caravans, gardens, etc. They consist of cells made from a single piece of monocrystalline silicon, which is produced by hot drawing the crystal. The main advantage of monocrystalline panels is their lower temperature coefficient. In practice, this means that if a panel is heated in warm weather, a monocrystalline panel will produce more electricity than a polycrystalline panel, which has a higher temperature coefficient.
