The UTi120B thermal imaging camera operates in the infrared spectrum and is designed to measure the surface temperature of objects in the range from -20°C to +400°C.
The camera features 10,800 thermal pixels, each with a diameter of 17 μm. The thermal image of objects, converted to a visible image using one of five available color palettes, can be overlaid on the visible-light image. This is handled by an additional visible-light sensor with a resolution of 640 x 480 pixels. Setting the system date and time. Manual camera shutter release. Saving images to a microSD card or transferring them via the USB-C interface to a laptop for storage for later analysis or for real-time image monitoring. Switching between temperature units in degrees Celsius or Fahrenheit. Automatically tracks the hottest and coldest spots in the image and displays their temperatures. Set temperature alarms. Analyze photos on a PC using software available on the manufacturer’s website. Powered by a 5000mAh Li-ion battery that can be charged inside the device.
The UTi120B thermal imager is an affordable professional troubleshooting tool, widely used in many applications such as locating overheated equipment, imperfect electrical contacts and in teaching.
