The UDP3305C programmable DC power supply is a cost-effective, branded laboratory power supply with four independent channels from UNI-T. The power supply contains a classic linear transformer and the CH1, CH2 channels allow operation in a constant output voltage (CV) setting mode ranging from 0 to 30V or in a constant output current (CC) mode from 0 to 5A. Channel CH3 provides a constant output voltage with selectable levels of 1.8V; 2.5V; 3.3V or 5.0V and has overload protection when current draw reaches 3.2A. In addition, there is a USB connector on the front panel which serves as a CH4 channel and can be used to charge e.g. a mobile phone at 5V/2A.
CH1 and CH2 channels can operate independently or can be internally connected in series or parallel, then the power supply supplies 0 to 60V/0 to 5A or 0 to 30V/10A.
The laboratory power supply has an EBTN display with 6 high precision indicators that simultaneously display the voltages, currents and powers in each of the two channels CH1 and CH2 with an accuracy of 4 digits.
The power supply has programmable parameters. It has 5 memories for easy storage and recall of set modes, and a button lock to prevent unwanted parameter changes. On the back of the power supply cabinet are USB-Device and RS232 connectors and a DIGITAL I/O interface for remote control of the power supply. Using the supplied software, the consumption or charging characteristics of the connected load can be recorded in real time on a connected PC and displayed in an Excel spreadsheet or graph, and SCPI can communicate with the PC based on communication commands. Periodic calibrations can be performed by software.
The power supply contains a temperature-controlled fan, long-term temperature overload of the transformer of the laboratory power supply is guarded by sensors, which switch the power supply off when the limit value is reached and switch it on again after cooling down.
