UT383S digital light meter (luxmeter) is a stable, safe and reliable miniature digital light meter, which is widely used in the development and design of lighting systems, in agriculture, livestock, mining industry, laboratories, offices, households, and is also popular as a teaching aid in schools and educational institutions. Due to the miniaturization, the sensor part is connected to the actual instrument by a cable with flexible winding, the sensor is provided with an anti-scratch cover. Four-digit display with a displayable value of 9999, at higher illumination values the range is increased 10x or 100x, which is indicated on the display. Measurement range is from 0 Lux to 199900 Lux, ranges change automatically. If the illumination is greater than 199900 Lux, the display will show "OL". It is possible to select the units Lux (Lx - in Europe) or FC (in USA, UK, FC = Lux / 10.76). The sampling rate of the measurement is 2/s. The power supply is made from three pieces of 1,5V AAA batteries. After five minutes of inactivity, the instrument switches off automatically.
