Inverter - The inverter generates 230V AC voltage from 12V DC voltage. This allows the connection of a wide variety of 230V appliances to a voltage source such as in a car, on a boat, at solar installations at cottages or when camping. Ideal for connecting a digital camera, mobile phone, laptop, printer, lamp, CD/DVD player, radio, etc. with a maximum power input of up to 1000W. The inverter is also equipped with a USB output for powering various devices via a USB 2.0 type interface. The device includes protection against reverse polarity, low/high voltage, short circuit, overload, overheating and high/low battery voltage. The output voltage ripple has a modified sinusoid shape.

It must not be used for el. rotating machines (asynchronous motors, circulating pumps, circular saws, milling machines, etc.)

Additional information :
The inverter switches the fans automatically at loads above 10 W. In idle mode the fans do not spin, i.e. as long as it is only connected to the battery. when connected to the battery there is a surge current of 1A which stabilizes to 250mA after a while.
