A TDS meter is a precision instrument designed for basic water testing to determine the total dissolved solids (TDS - Total Dissolved Solids) in water (minerals, salts, metals, etc.). The resulting value is given as PPM (parts per million). The instrument is equipped with automatic temperature compensation - the results should not be affected by water temperature. The instrument can be used to detect the difference between tap water, well water or filtered water, etc. Other uses swimming pools and spas, ponds and aquariums, agriculture and hydroponics, wastewater, cooling towers, food industry, laboratories, educational purposes, etc. The instrument is also suitable for measuring the efficiency of reverse osmosis in the purification of water from dissolved substances.
