The Alcad AM487 is a four-input mast amplifier in a new and improved design, with increased weather resistance and increased oscillation resistance. The AM-487 has LTE700 band suppression (it has a built-in 5G filter and amplifies UHF only up to 694MHz). The amplifier is suitable for both indoor and outdoor mounting. The individual inputs have separate gain control by a resistive trimmer, the amplifier +12V power supply is implemented remotely over a coaxial cable via the amplifier output, the original power supplies are AL-105 or AL-205, which include a power switch and also have a broadband splitter integrated in them. The amplifier is manufactured by SMT technology and is housed in a Zamac casting, the plastic housing guarantees increased protection against weather conditions, the plastic housing of the amplifier is adapted for both mast mounting (by means of the supplied stirrup) and wall mounting, the inputs and outputs are on F-connectors, for the UHF inputs it is possible to switch on the power supply for the preamplifiers by +12V/50 mA switch.
