Egg viewer - PUISOR EC-01B

Universal egg viewer designed to verify the stages of egg development during incubation. The viewer has an LED strong enough to illuminate the eggshell so you can easily distinguish whether your hatching eggs are fertilized or unfertilized. This handy illuminator is equipped with a groove in which you can conveniently place the egg when illuminating. The egg viewer is powered by 3xAA batteries (batteries not included), so you can use it absolutely everywhere.

For which types of eggs is the lightener suitable

The PUISOR illuminator has a groove above the diode, in which you can comfortably place hen, duck, quail and pheasant eggs when illuminating.

Control of hatching eggs

The first fertility check takes place at the end of the first third of hatching, i.e. on day 8 for hen eggs. The eggs are shone briefly so that light penetrates through the shell. In a healthy and fertilized egg, the vascular structure is beautifully distinct with a gradually developing embryo, unlike unfertilized eggs which remain cloudy. Unfertilized eggs or dead embryos need to be discarded from the hatchery after hatching. Egg inspection is a very important point in home hatching because if these defective eggs are discarded, disease can spread in the hatchery and hence egg hatchability can be greatly reduced.
