Heating coils (rods) are used to electrically heat a ladder radiator. They are inserted directly into the radiator through a special T-piece, which is adapted to the combination of electric coil and conventional heating water. The main advantage of such solutions is the heating of the ladder even when the boiler is not in operation, for example in summer or transitional periods. The electric coils are divided according to power, from 200 W up to 900 W designed for large ladder radiators. It is also possible to connect a socket thermostat (temperature setting device) to the electric coil, which can be used to control either the heating time or, of course, the temperature.
