IVAR.CI 557 VP - underfloor heating/radiator assembly with cabinet
The IVAR CI 557 VP category includes pre-assembled systems for combining floor heating with radiator circuits. Each kit features a brass distributor with flow meters, a collector with shut-off valves, and a circulation pump with wiring. Additional components include a thermostatic valve, temperature sensor, bypass, and safety thermostat. These kits are suitable for hydronic heating systems operating at up to 90°C and PN 6 pressure ratings. They are commonly used in residential and commercial installations where mixed heating methods are required.
Available in 2- to 10-way configurations, these systems are designed for integration with underfloor heating and conventional radiators. The brass CW617N material ensures durability and compatibility with standard heating fluids. Internal 1" F threads provide standardised connections for integration into existing systems.
How to choose
- Select the number of circuits (2- to 10-way) based on the number of heating zones in the installation.
- Confirm compatibility with existing heating system components, particularly valves and piping, using internal 1" F thread connections.
- Verify that the circulation pump and thermostatic control meet the system's hydraulic and temperature regulation requirements.
- Ensure the cabinet size accommodates all components and allows for future expansion or maintenance.
Frequently asked questions
Can the circulation pump be controlled separately?
Switching off the circulation pump is not integrated into the distributor assembly. It must be controlled via an external thermostat or regulation system such as IVAR.AC 614 E.
What maintenance is required before commissioning?
Before starting the system, especially when combining underfloor and radiator heating, the entire system must be flushed according to the manufacturer's instructions. It is also recommended to treat the system with GEL.LONG LIFE 100 to prevent impurities from causing functional issues.
