    Extension cables and reels

    This category lists EMOS extension cables supplied loose or wound on a reel. They differ in length, number of sockets, conductor cross-section and sheath material: PVC cables are intended for dry indoor use, while rubber and neoprene cables are built for outdoor work. Alongside 230 V single-phase leads there are 400 V three-phase ones.

    A reel keeps a long cable tidy, but at higher loads it should be fully unwound so that the cable can cool. Plug and socket standards vary across Europe, so before ordering check the plug type, voltage and degree of protection in the product parameters.
