In order for a specimen of a plant or other material to be examined under a microscope, it must undergo careful preparation: a very thin section of the material must be placed on a slide and a cover slip placed over it. This slide set already contains completely prepared samples of biological material, so you can spend more time studying them. The kit includes several blank slides and coverslips that you can use to prepare your own microscope slides. The slides and coverslips are made of highly transparent glass and ensure comfortable observation without glare or distortion.
