the wAP LR8G kit is a complete out-of-the-box solution for use as a gateway to a LoRaWAN network. The device includes a pre-installed R11e-LR8G module, 1 RJ45 Ethernet port as well as a 2.4GHz wireless card for building an access point. All in the familiar wAP design for outdoor wall or mast mounting. The use of the new LoRa LR8G module makes the device even more affordable. wAP LR8G kit supports frequencies from 863-870 MHz and improved RX sensitivity of up to -141 dBm increases range and improves reliability - even in harsh environments. What is LoRa good for? The LoRa (Long Range) network is ideal for long-range, low-power wireless communications, making it suitable for Internet of Things (IoT) applications. It uses low frequency bands and allows devices to be connected over tens of kilometres, making it ideal for monitoring sensors, smart meters or outdoor devices.
