This is the most commonly fitted size in the oval range: a straight 1/2″-to-1/2″ angle valve for isolating a single fixture's water supply. The oval head shape is a softer, more rounded alternative to square or triangular escutcheons, and blends in under most modern and classic bathroom fittings alike.
A ceramic-disc cartridge inside gives a light quarter-turn shut-off that holds up to years of daily use without dripping or seizing.
