Kurinmade of wood weighs about 120 kg, and soensures great stability. To ensure dry standing of the structure, the firebox is placed on four raised legs. The fireplace is not insulated. Forprotection against sunlight is the roof of both the chicken coop and the laying nestscovered with bituminous covering. Nevertheless, we recommend placing the fireplace under a shelter to protect it from rain, snow and extreme sunlight. The wooden fireplace is surface treated with a protective primer. As with all wood, the protective coating needs to be renewed for longer life.Air circulation in the fireplaceis provided by two front doors with wire windows.
