SENCOR SCP 3701BK Induction CooktopUltraFlat Single-Zone Induction Cooktop
-Simple controls on the touch panel with a slider for adjusting temperature and power
-Ultra-slim, compact design; the stove is just 4.3 cm tall
-Easy maintenance of a glass-ceramic induction cooktop
-The high efficiency of induction cooking ensures savings in both time and electricity
A glass-ceramic induction cooktop remains cool to the touch because the heat is generated directly in the cookware via induction (note: the cooktop may become partially heated by the cookware). Induction cooking saves time (60%) and electricity (50%). It is highly efficient (up to 90%) and has minimal heat loss.
You control the cooktop and its various functions using touch buttons. You can adjust the temperature and power by simply swiping your finger left or right on the slider control. A large, easy-to-read LCD display with red backlighting shows the current temperature and power settings.
The continuous glass-ceramic surface covers the entire top of the cooktop. This makes it easy to keep the appliance clean. And because the heat needed for cooking is generated directly in the pot and the cooktop does not heat up directly (only from the residual heat of the pot), anything that accidentally spills out of the pot will not burn onto the cooktop surface.
Microprocessor-based operational control.
Instant power delivery without a lengthy warm-up period.
Reduced noise levels thanks to an optimized internal layout.
Suitable for cookware with diameters ranging from 12 to 26 cm.
Automatic detection of cookware for induction cooking (with a magnetic bottom).
Option to select temperature/power settings.
Temperature control from 60 °C to 240 °C.
Power can be adjusted in 10 steps within a range of 200–2,000 W.
A sleep timer that delays shutdown by up to 180 minutes.
ON/OFF button to turn the device on or switch it to standby mode.
Non-slip feet.
High level of security:
-Automatic cookware detection and automatic shut-off. The cooktop will turn off if the cookware is removed from the cooking zone or if the cookware used is not suitable for induction cooking. You can easily check if the cookware is suitable by holding a magnet to the bottom of the pot.
-A thermal fuse that protects both the cooktop and the interior of the stove from overheating, with an audible alarm. First, a warning signal sounds, and then the stove automatically shuts off.
-Residual heat indicator. If the surface temperature of the cooktop exceeds 80 °C (heat generated by the bottom of a heated pot), the letter "H" appears on the display as a warning. The warning disappears as soon as the surface temperature drops below 80 °C.
-Control panel lock. This feature prevents accidental activation and changes to settings, such as by small children. You can lock the cooktop even when it is turned off (as long as "OFF" is displayed). To unlock the cooktop functions, press and hold the button for 3 seconds.
-The cooktop automatically turns off after 2 hours of inactivity.
