Product detailed description

SENCOR SCP 4001BK Combination Cooker
Two-burner induction & radiant cooktop

-Combination of induction and radiant hot plates
-Simple controls combining a classic rotary knob with a touch panel
-Easy maintenance
-High efficiency, saving time and electricity while cooking

When cooking on a standard stovetop, the burner heats up first, and only then is the heat transferred to the bottom of the cookware placed on the stovetop. It is precisely during this transfer of heat from the cooktop to the bottom of the cookware that significant heat loss occurs. This is especially true if the cookware does not have a flat bottom and is not in full contact with the cooktop, or if the cooktop is dirty.
When cooking on an induction cooktop, the flat metal bottom of the cookware heats up directly. This minimizes heat loss, making cooking on an induction cooktop faster and more energy-efficient.
The glass-ceramic surface of an induction cooktop remains cool to the touch because the heat is generated directly in the cookware via induction (note: the cooktop may become partially warm from the cookware). Induction cooking saves time (60%) and electricity (50%). It is highly efficient (up to 90%) and results in minimal heat loss. The smooth glass-ceramic surface of the cooktop ensures easy and hygienic maintenance.

Features:

-Touch controls combined with a traditional rotary knob for adjusting temperature and power.
-Microprocessor-based operational control
-Suitable for cookware with diameters ranging from 12 to 26 cm
-Large, easy-to-read LCD display with red backlight
-A sleep timer with a range of 1–180 minutes, adjustable in 1-minute increments
-ON/OFF button to turn the device on or switch it to standby mode
-Control panel lock to prevent unauthorized use and changes to settings

Induction cooktop:

The left induction cooktop offers all the benefits of induction cooking. The power can be adjusted in 10 steps from 200 to 1,600 W, or you can select a temperature range from 60 to 240 °C.
Automatic detection of cookware for induction cooking (with a magnetic bottom).

Radiant hot plate:

A true radiant (sometimes also referred to as glass-ceramic) cooktop operates within a temperature range of 50 to 500 °C, or with 10 power settings ranging from 200 to 1,800 W.
You can use any type of cookware on a radiant hotplate; however, for optimal heat transfer and maximum performance, you should use cookware with a flat bottom.

High level of security
-Automatic detection of the cookware and its suitability for the selected heating method.
-The induction cooktop will turn off if the pot is removed from the cooking zone or if the cookware used is not suitable for induction cooking. You can easily check if the cookware is suitable by holding a magnet against the bottom of the pot.
-Warning light indicating that the surface of the right heating element is too hot.
