When a garden hose splits, gets cut, or a fitting tears off the end, this repairer lets you rejoin the two pieces instead of throwing the whole hose away - just cut back to sound hose on both sides and push the ends onto the connector.
It's also handy for joining two separate hose lengths together to make one longer run when a single coil doesn't quite reach.
