Accessibility statement

The ATRIA Europe wholesale online shop is operated by ATRIA SK s.r.o., P. Mudroňa 5, Žilina, Slovakia, company ID (IČO) 45473480. We want www.atria-europe.com to be easy to use for everyone – including people with disabilities, older visitors and anyone who navigates with a keyboard only or relies on a screen reader. This statement explains where the website currently stands.

Scope

This statement covers the entire www.atria-europe.com online shop in all four language versions: Slovak, Czech, English and German. It is based on Directive (EU) 2019/882 of the European Parliament and of the Council (the European Accessibility Act) and on Slovak Act No. 351/2022 Coll., which transposes the directive into the law of Slovakia, where the operator is based.

Compliance status

Our target is WCAG 2.1 Level AA. The website is currently partially compliant – the parts that do not yet meet the requirements are listed below.

What we have done

Display settings

The Accessibility button in the site header opens a panel where you can switch on:

Larger text – text and buttons are enlarged by 15%,
High contrast – black text and more prominent links,
Underlined links – links stand out clearly from the surrounding text,
No animations – moving elements and videos are stopped,
Easier-to-read text – wider spacing between letters and lines.

The browser in which you made your selection remembers it, so there is no need to set it up again on your next visit. “Restore default display” takes you back to the original layout at any time.

Keyboard and screen reader support

A Skip to main content link at the top of every page lets keyboard users jump straight past the header and menu.
The element that currently has keyboard focus is clearly outlined.
Icon-only buttons and form fields have text labels that screen readers announce.
Images have alternative text.

Reduced motion

If “reduce motion” is enabled in your operating system or browser, the website respects it and switches off moving effects.

Known limitations

YouTube videos – embedded videos play in YouTube’s own player, and subtitles may not be available for every video or in every language.
Older product descriptions and PDF documents – some descriptions and technical documents (installation manuals, data sheets) are supplied by manufacturers and may lack a proper heading structure, image descriptions or a text layer.
Checkout and payment – the checkout is provided by the Shoptet e-commerce platform and the payment gateway is run by a third party, so we have only limited influence over their accessibility.
Embedded manufacturer content – manufacturers’ pages displayed within our website are outside our control.

We are gradually fixing the issues that are within our control. If you need any information in another format – for example as plain text in an email – let us know and we will try to provide it.

Have you come across a barrier on our website that prevents you from ordering or finding the information you need? Please email us at info@atria.sk, giving the page address and a short description of the problem. We normally aim to reply within 5 working days.

Enforcement

If you are not satisfied with our reply, or do not hear back from us, you can contact a market surveillance authority. In Slovakia, this is the Slovak Trade Inspection (Slovenská obchodná inšpekcia). Customers in other EU member states may also turn to the competent market surveillance authority in their own country.
