This angle (90°) shut-off valve bridges a standard G1/2'' water supply pipe to a G3/4'' appliance connection - the size commonly needed for a washing machine, dishwasher or garden tap hose union - while giving you a dedicated local shut-off point right at the fixture.
The ceramic-disc head opens and closes with a smooth quarter-turn and won't drip or seize even after years of regular use.
