Don't want to pay high electricity connection fees at the campsite, or need power anytime and anywhere away from civilization? Simply use solar energy to charge the on-board battery in your caravan/ motorhome.

We offer you an optimally designed 350 Wp solar system for caravans and motorhomes with a 5 year warranty on the solar panels and solar controller. This system operates with a battery voltage of 12V. This is one of the most frequently sold and used solar systems of our range.

The solar system includes the following components:

2x Solar panel Victron Energy 175Wp/12V
1x MPPT solar controller Victron Energy SmartSolar 100/30
1x Cable set 6mm2 incl. pressed connectors MC4 - length 15 m
This kit does not include a battery. If you do not have an on-board battery in your motorhome, we recommend choosing a sealed AGM, GEL, or LiFePo battery from the solar battery section. We will be happy to help you with the right choice.

We recommend fixing the panels to the caravan roof using the time-tested 68cm bracket set (not included in the kit price), which can be found in the same section as this kit. There is also a waterproof grommet for the two cables leading from the panel and suitable adhesive.

The Victron Energy SmartSolar 100/30 solar controller makes the system completely unattended.

NOTICE:
The assembly includes a 6mm2 cable 15m long, on the ends of the cable are pressed MC4 connectors used to connect to the solar panel. The installing electrician will retrofit the cable ends leading to the solar controller with glands and suitable DC fusing. For the battery, the cable shall be terminated with suitable lugs and suitable DC fusing according to the battery type and installation conditions.

You need additional system components:
We will be happy to advise you on the selection of a suitable battery type, suitable voltage converter 12DC/230AC. In our offer you will also find the products necessary for charging from the alternator while driving.

How to choose the right solar system?
Multiply the consumption in Watts of the individual devices powered by the solar system by the number of hours of expected operation per day. The result will be the total Wh (watt-hours) demand per day. If this figure is lower than the values given for each season, the system performance is sufficient, otherwise a more powerful system must be selected. If you are not sure which system to choose, please contact us and we will be happy to advise you.

If any component of the solar system does not suit your needs, we will be happy to replace it with another one or select it completely with a corresponding price adjustment. For this modification please contact us or indicate the fact in the notes in the order.

Together with the solar system you will receive detailed instructions with a description of the individual components and a wiring diagram.
