The CEL-TEC Mini breathalyzer is a modern and user-friendly solution for measuring blood alcohol content. Thanks to its accuracy, the AirSensorTool mobile app in Slovak, hygienic and contactless measurement, and the ability to save a history of results (up to 100 results), it is ideal for personal use.

The tester is designed to be as compact, lightweight, and portable as possible. Measuring 55 × 25 × 8 mm and weighing just 7 grams, it can be easily carried in a pocket or purse. The device is equipped with a USB-C connector for physical connection to a mobile phone; this port is used to power the tester, while communication with the phone takes place via Bluetooth. Although USB-C is primarily a standard for devices running the Android operating system, the tester is also compatible with Apple products (iPhone, iPad) equipped with a USB-C port.

The measurement is completely hygienic and contactless—the tester does not require the use of a mouthpiece. The measurement process involves blowing into the sensor located below the LED indicator from a distance of 2–3 centimeters for ten seconds. The measured values are immediately displayed in the mobile app, which supports various units of measurement, such as BAC (blood alcohol content) percentage, milligrams per liter, grams per liter, or milligrams per 100 milliliters. You can easily switch between these units thanks to intuitive touch controls. The device is equipped with an LED indicator that informs the user of the tester’s status. When connected to a charged phone, the LED lights up white, indicating that it is ready for use. The sensor warms up before measurement, accompanied by a red flashing LED. During the breath test, it flashes white. The tester uses a combination of a physical connection via a USB-C port for power and wireless communication via Bluetooth, which enables fast data transfer to the app and accurate real-time display of results.

The tester is equipped with a highly sensitive sensor that enables extremely accurate measurement of blood alcohol content. It is recommended to perform the test at least twenty minutes after the last consumption of alcohol so that the results accurately reflect the blood alcohol level. Immediate measurement after consuming alcoholic beverages may be inaccurate, as it reflects the concentration of alcohol in the breath rather than in the blood itself. The long-term functionality and accuracy of the device are ensured when proper usage procedures are followed. The tester should not be exposed to excessively concentrated gas, such as breath with a high alcohol content immediately after consuming beverages. By following these guidelines, you can minimize the risk of sensor damage and maintain the device’s reliability.
