Nitrile rubber (NBR)

Nitrile rubber (NBR) is a synthetic elastomer that is made from nitrile and butadiene. It is known for its good resistance to oils, fuels, chemicals and heat. This combination of properties makes NBR a very useful material for various applications in various industries. Here are some of the uses of nitrile rubber:

Automotive industry: NBR is often used in automobiles for the production of sealing elements, gaskets for engines, transmissions, brake systems and fuel systems. Its resistance to oils and fuels is very valuable in this area.

Pneumatic and hydraulic systems: NBR is used to manufacture sealing elements, gaskets and hoses for pneumatic and hydraulic systems where the components must be resistant to oils, chemicals and abrasion.

Appliance industry: NBR is used in the production of sealing elements and gaskets for appliances such as various valves, hoses, pumps and others.

Gas industry: NBR is used in the gas industry to produce sealing elements and gaskets for piping systems where they must be resistant to chemicals while maintaining a leak-tight seal.

Food industry: A special form of NBR that is approved for use in food can be used in the food industry for the production of sealing elements or hoses.

Medical and medical equipment: NBR can be used in the production of sealing elements and components for medical and medical equipment, where resistance to sterilization and chemicals is important.

Due to its resistance to oils, chemicals and heat, nitrile rubber is a widely used elastomer in various industrial applications where tightness and reliability are important.
