The thermometer features pre-set programs for the most popular meats and automatically suggests the ideal target temperature and cooking time for flawless results. Roast, grill or barbecue with confidence and enjoy great food every time.

Operating the thermometer is simple as you can easily switch between settings and make adjustments using the central scroll wheel. Simply rotate to select the type and degree of doneness of your meat, set a target temperature or start a timer counting down 12 hours. The thermometer will alert you with an audible signal when the food is done or when the timer expires.

During temperature measurement, the display backlight changes color to indicate the status, white for low temperature, green for normal temperature, and red for high temperature. The clear LCD display is easy to see from a distance and the font is easy to read. A special on-screen indicator reminds you when it's time to change the batteries. Two AAA batteries provide approximately 600 hours of operation, enough for an entire grilling season. If you forget to turn it off, it automatically shuts off after a minute of inactivity to conserve battery power.

The probe is IP65 rated to protect it from dust and splashes, so you can safely wash it under running water. However, the main unit is not waterproof, so you must not immerse it in water as this will damage the device.
