This mounting rail is fitted into the wall or cabinet structure before tiling or panelling, giving the faucet's water connection a fixed, load-bearing anchor point instead of relying on the sink or worktop cut-out alone. The body is steel with a brass elbow fitting, terminating in a 1/2" thread for the faucet supply pipe.
