Product detailed description

The PNI CT28WIFI is an internet gateway for the wireless PNI CT28 underfloor heating system. It joins your Wi-Fi network and translates commands from the app into the radio communication used by the PNI CT28 PRO thermostats and the PNI CT28M control module.

In the Tuya Smart app you add the gateway first and then connect the thermostat to it as a sub-device. You can view the set and measured temperature, change the heating state and operating mode (manual, eco, scheduled) and reach advanced settings such as frost protection, child lock, open window detection, temperature calibration and hysteresis.

The wireless part of the system works without the gateway as well. Thermostats and the module talk to each other directly; the gateway only adds access through the internet.

Connection

The hub is round, 65 mm in diameter and 12 mm thick, and runs on 5 V / 1 A. It uses Wi-Fi 2.4 GHz and 868 MHz radio.
