The PNI GreenHouse H01 is a plug-and-play portable solar system for camping, caravans, greenhouses and any place without mains power. A 10 W panel charges the battery in the central unit, which then powers two LED bulbs, phones through USB and small 12 V devices.
The central unit offers three 12 V outputs (max. 3 A / 30 W in total), two USB 5 V / 1 A outputs, an FM radio that tunes more than 20 stations and an MP3 player for USB sticks and SD cards. A fully charged battery runs two 3 W bulbs for up to 12 hours, according to the manufacturer.
The set includes the control unit with a 12 V / 7 Ah gel lead battery, a 360 x 240 mm solar panel with a 6 m cable, and two LED bulbs with cable and switch.
Charging
Charging takes at least 7 hours in strong sunlight and takes longer under cloud. The panel is polycrystalline, 10 W, with 36 cells (Voc 21.8 V, Isc 0.62 A).
