The PNI MW 7.2-12 is a compact lead-acid battery using AGM technology, rated at 12 V and 7.2 Ah. It was designed as a buffer power supply for equipment and, if needed, can also power portable devices.
It is a VRLA type, meaning maintenance-free: gases produced during charging are converted back into water inside the sealed case, so there is nothing to top up. The electrolyte is held in glass fibre compartments, which allows use in almost any position. Long life, high output for its size and a low self-discharge rate are its main strengths.
At 151 x 65 x 94 mm and about 1.9 kg it fits into small enclosures.
Connection and use
Final charging voltage is 14.4 - 15 V DC, maximum charging current 2 A and maximum discharge current (5 s) 80 A. Connection is by Faston 187 terminals. Operating temperature is -20 to +50 degrees C.
