The PNI SafePC E650VA is an uninterruptible power supply that keeps small electronics running through a power cut long enough to save your work and shut down properly. It suits a desktop PC, laptop, monitor, router or similar equipment. Output is 650 VA (390 W) and a 12 V / 7 Ah lead-acid battery is already supplied, so there is nothing extra to buy.
An AVR circuit corrects the output when the mains voltage is too low or too high and keeps it within 195–245 V, so connected devices do not have to switch to battery for every dip. On mains the waveform is a pure sine wave; on battery it is a simulated sine wave, and the switchover takes 8 to 10 ms.
The LCD shows the operating status, battery level and warnings, and the unit alerts you with sound and indicators when the battery is low, when it switches to battery and when it is overloaded. It measures 295 x 135 x 90 mm and weighs 4.6 kg.
What it is for – and what it is not
It is intended for small and medium office electronics. It is not recommended for pumps, motors, laser printers or other inductive loads. Typical backup time at half load is about 8 minutes, and a full recharge takes about 8 hours.

Can I connect a boiler circulation pump?
The manufacturer does not recommend this model for pumps, motors or inductive equipment. For a boiler or pump choose a UPS with a pure sine wave on battery as well.
Is the battery included?
Yes, a 12 V / 7 Ah lead-acid battery is supplied with the unit.
How long will it run?
About 8 minutes at half load; longer with a lighter load.
