The PNI SVT-10K is a three-phase servo-motor voltage stabiliser rated 10 kVA (8000 W). On a three-phase supply it is quite common for one phase to run high while another runs low. Adjusting all three phases together would not give good results, so this stabiliser regulates each phase independently, giving better balance between the phases.
The unit consists of a contact voltage regulator, a servo motor and a self-control circuit that sets the carbon brush position and keeps the output constant. The input can range from 277 to 433 V AC and the output is 380 / 400 V at 50/60 Hz.
The front panel carries four displays and the unit offers overvoltage and undervoltage protection. Such stabilisers are used in industry, agriculture, transport, telecoms, metalworking, and with technical and medical equipment.
Installation and handling
The cabinet measures 310 x 345 x 720 mm and stands on castors, but at roughly 45 kg packed it is hard to lift – plan for more than one person. Connection must be done by a qualified electrician. Operating temperature is −10 to +45 °C and humidity up to 95 %, non-condensing.
