Pump units and controls
This category includes complete solar pump units and control systems for integration into solar thermal installations. The IVAR.SOLAR K series provides pre-assembled pump groups with electronic pumps, safety valves, flow meters, pressure gauges, non-return valves, thermometers, and insulation. These units are available in single-pipe (K1) and double-pipe (K2) configurations, with or without integrated digital control systems. All units feature 3/4" internal thread connections for compatibility with standard piping systems.
How to choose
- Select between single-pipe (K1) and double-pipe (K2) configurations based on the system’s hydraulic design and flow requirements.
- Ensure compatibility with 3/4" internal thread piping systems; for ø 18 or ø 22 mm pipes, use IVAR.2544 clamping screws.
- Choose between unregulated pump units or models with integrated control systems (ILTDC, IMTDC, ISTDC) depending on the level of automation required.
- Consider the number of temperature sensors and pre-programmed hydraulic schemes when selecting a control unit (e.g., 4 Pt1000 sensors and 42 schemes for ILTDC).
