Reductions
This category includes threaded brass reductions used to connect pipes of different diameters in heating, plumbing, and irrigation systems. These fittings enable smooth transitions between male and female threads, ensuring secure and leak-free connections. They are suitable for use in systems operating at temperatures up to +120°C and are commonly used in domestic and commercial installations where pipe size adjustments are necessary.
Available in a range of sizes from 1/4" to 3", these reductions are manufactured from CW617N brass and are certified for use in potable water systems. Their PN 10 pressure rating ensures reliable performance in standard-pressure applications.
How to choose
- Select the correct inlet and outlet sizes based on the connected pipe dimensions (e.g., 1" x 3/4", 2" x 5/4").
- Ensure the fitting is compatible with the thread type and orientation of your system (male/female).
- Verify that the material (CW617N brass) is suitable for your application and meets relevant standards such as those for potable water.
- Confirm the maximum operating temperature and pressure rating (T = +120°C, PN 10) match your system requirements.
