Wireless communication in the FireSafe network

The detector includes an integrated RF module that, thanks to the CONNECTED function, allows two or more FireSafe detectors to be wirelessly connected to each other in an interconnected wireless network. In this case, if one of the devices triggers an alarm, it sends a radio signal and all other FireSafe units connected in the network respond to this alarm.

The FireSafe SAFE 50HUB-WRF intelligent central control unit can be added to the wireless network. These units then allow convenient setup and control of the comprehensive FireSafe system remotely via an intuitive free mobile app (for Android and iOS) for smartphones, tablets and other devices. The hub monitors the activity of all connected FireSafe detectors and devices and immediately notifies system users via push notifications if a hazard is detected.

Unique dual-spectrum smoke chamber technology

A dual-spectral optical sensor with blue and infrared LED sources with different wavelengths was integrated into the dust- and insect-resistant smoke detection chamber. The design of the chamber with direct connection to the AI SAFE microprocessor thus offers the most reliable detection method, which in combination with a prediction algorithm allows the measurement of the concentration of microparticles directly in the air and in real time. This unique technology can thus determine the size of volatile particles inside the optical chamber and respond only to the actual smoke threat, ignoring the similar composition of water vapour or other fumes.
Responds only to real threats

In the case of fire detection systems in residential premises, the priority is to inform the occupants in good time about the real danger. The AI SAFE microprocessor was developed based on a detailed analysis of the combustion properties of materials and works with a predictive algorithm that compares data from a dual-spectrum optical sensor and filters out potential false alarms in real time. If the recorded data corresponds to liquid water vapour particles or other types of vapour, the detector will not respond. However, if the dynamics of the data pattern match the actual smoke particle parameters in a fire, the detector immediately triggers a fire alarm.

Fire alarm signalling

If the smoke concentration reaches a set value during detection, the detector automatically sounds a loud 85 dB audible alarm signal accompanied by a flashing red LED to indicate a fire alarm. This is a targeted way of alerting building occupants to the fact that there is a fire in part of the building, through the high noise level and intense LED signal. The purpose of the fire alarm is to immediately respond to an alarm event or to move people from the scene of an emergency to a safe zone.

SIC technology and remote alarm muting using IR remote control

The detector has a combined TEST and SILENCE button, which is designed to test and verify the correct function of the device and to temporarily silence the detector. If you know the cause of the fire alarm activation and need to mute the loud siren sound, there is no need to go to the detector itself and mute it using the button. SIC technology allows you to remotely mute an audible alarm by pressing any button on a standard infrared remote control (most home appliance controls, such as a TV).

With IZOVAX protection even in rooms with high humidity

The detector's electronic components and circuit board are coated with an insulating and protective layer of IZOVAX nanoparticles, and thanks to the innovative technology of the dual-spectrum optical sensing chamber, which can distinguish smoke particles from water vapour, the device can be installed in very humid environments (near bathrooms, drying rooms, kitchens or utility rooms), unlike conventional fire detectors.

Guaranteed operating performance for decades

Power is provided by an integrated 3 V lithium battery (built-in, non-replaceable), which guarantees extremely long operation of the detector for more than 10 years. Battery operation allows for quick and easy installation and guarantees proper operation of the smoke and fire detector for more than 10 years after activation. Activation of the power battery occurs after the detector is positioned and secured in the mounting bracket. After 10 years of protection and with a 30-day advance notice, the detector will alert you to the end of its life and automatically notify you that it needs to be replaced. The extended 10-year warranty covers both the battery and the device itself.
