Termomanometre
Thermomanometers are combined instruments that simultaneously measure pressure and temperature in heating, plumbing, and sanitary systems. These devices are commonly used in residential and commercial heating systems to monitor the performance of boilers, heat exchangers, and circulation pumps. The instruments are available in radial or axial configurations, with a standard diameter of 80 mm. They are suitable for systems operating within a temperature range of 0°C to +120°C and pressure ranges of 0 to 1.6 bar, 2.5 bar, 4 bar, or 6 bar. Many models include a check valve and are designed for 1/4" F x 1/2" M thread connections.
How to choose
- Select the correct pressure range (0–1.6 bar, 0–2.5 bar, 0–4 bar, or 0–6 bar) based on the system's operating conditions.
- Choose between radial or axial mounting depending on the available space and installation orientation.
- Ensure compatibility with the system’s piping by verifying the connection type (1/4" F x 1/2" M) and the inclusion of a check valve if required.
- Confirm the temperature range (0°C to +120°C) matches the system’s expected thermal conditions.
Frequently asked questions
Can thermomanometers be used in both heating and irrigation systems?
Thermomanometers are primarily designed for heating and plumbing systems. For irrigation systems, it is recommended to use instruments specifically rated for that application.
What is the function of the check valve included in some models?
The check valve prevents backflow of fluids, ensuring accurate pressure readings and protecting the gauge from reverse flow damage.
