The UniFi WiFi BaseStation XG is a device that, thanks to its performance and design, is perfectly suited for installations where there is a high concentration of people in a smaller space. Music festivals, concert and sports halls, cinemas, theatres - the UWB-XG can be installed anywhere. The design of the unit can be adapted to the environment so that it attracts as little attention as possible. Even the LED indicator is in RGB and can thus be set in software. 5GHz only! The unit only has a 5GHz radio part, which provides higher performance and throughput than the 2.4Ghz band. The Dual-Mode adjustable antenna has a gain of 10dBi at a 90° radiation angle and 15dBi at a 50° radiation angle. With 3 radio sections, the unit can serve up to 1500 connected devices, with a recommended maximum of 750 client devices. The maximum modulation rate thanks to 4x4 MU-MIMO technology is 1733 Mbps for each radio part and there is also support for Beamforming technology. Data transmission over Ethernet is provided by a pair of ports (1x 10/100/1000Mbps, 1x 1/10Gbps IMC). The unit can be powered by active POE 802.3bt or by the included 50V/1.2A POE adapter with gigabit port. Easy installation The BaseStation XG can be mounted on a mast or wall using the included brackets. A new feature is the ability to mount on standardized VESA mounts, with holes for 75mm and 100mm pitches provided.
